MEXT Undergraduate Scholarship Duration

Direct Placement Students	4 or 6 years (no prep year)

Eligible applicants with sufficient Japanese or English proficiency may skip the one-year preparatory education and directly enroll in a university. Ask your embassy if direct placement is available in your selected field.

Eligibility Criteria
