Fields of study include Agriculture, Climate and Environmental Science, Public Health, Human Rights, Education, Engineering, Development Studies, Economics, and Business. Applicants are encouraged to choose programmes that align with their professional background and career goals.

Eligibility Criteria for Ireland ASEAN Scholarships 2026

To be eligible for the Ireland Fellows Programme – Asia 2026–27, applicants must:

  • Be a resident national of Vietnam, Cambodia, or Lao PDR
  • Have at least 2 years (Vietnam) or 3 years (Cambodia & Lao PDR) of relevant work experience
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent honors)
  • Have completed their degree in 2014 or later
  • Not already hold or be enrolled in a Master’s degree or higher
  • Select three Master’s programmes from the eligible course list
  • Demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to SDGs and building ties with Ireland
  • Be ready to commence studies in Ireland no sooner than August 2026
