The Artes Graduate School is distinguished by its interdisciplinary orientation, which focuses on interaction between young scientists beyond the limits of their own subjects and thus leads to an awareness of information processes as a whole. It is based, on the one hand, on a notion of the humanities beyond the dichotomy of humanities and cultural studies and, on the other, of the natural sciences.
