Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan is Pleased to announce the Allama Iqbal Scholarship for Sri Lankan Students in Pakistan the academic year of 2020-2021 under the Pak-Sri Lanka Higher Education Cooperation Program. Allama Iqbal Scholarship program is established to support 1000 Sri Lankan students to continue their higher studies in Pakistani Higher Educational Institutions on Fully Funded Financially support throughout the academic year. Pakistan is welcome to students from Sri Lanka to apply in any degree programs (Undergraduate, Master and PhD) in Engineering, Sciences, Basic Sciences, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences. The aim of this Allama Iqbal Scholarship is to promote the effective and attractive exchange of knowledge and cultural and tradition between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Eligibility Criteria
Interested Students should fulfill the following eligibility criteria before application
- Students should have the nationality of Sri Lanka
- Applicants for Medicine and Engineering should have the 12-year Education in
Pre medical or Pre-Engineering with at least 65% marks - Students interested in other bachelor’s degree programs should have the 12-year education in related or relevant subject with at least 60% marks
- For master’s degree Applications, students should have the 16-year
educations degree in relevant subjects with at least 60%. - Students who are looking for PhD degrees should have the 16-year education with at least 3.0 CGPA out of 4 scale
- Age limits for Bachelor programs are between 17 to 22 years and for masters and PhD Applicants age should be under 35 years.
- Medium of Instruction will be English
