What Does the Stefan Banach Scholarship Cover?

  • Full tuition fee waiver at public Polish universities
  • Monthly stipend of PLN 1,800 (~USD 450) for living expenses
  • Travel grant (PLN 1,000–6,500 based on country)
  • Free one-year preparatory course (for those studying in Polish)
  • Polish language & culture course (for English track students)
  • Additional financial support in case of hardship

1. Polish-language Track

  • One-year preparatory course (language + subject foundation)
  • Followed by full-time Master’s studies in Polish

Eligibility Criteria to Study in Poland

To apply for the Banach Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of an eligible country
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree (or be in the final semester) obtained no earlier than 2022
  • Have no prior Master’s degree
  • Possess a valid passport
  • Provide proof of language proficiency:
    • Polish (A2/B2) or
    • English (minimum B2 or equivalent)
