Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants to study in china with its fully-funded Chinese Government Scholarship Scheme CSC Scholarship at Zhejiang University must fulfill the following eligibility criteria;

• Students from all around the world (All nationalities can apply except china)
• Applicants must have at least bachelor/undergraduate or 16-year education for the Master’s degree applications and must be under the age of 35 years old. (Must be from the top 500 universities of the world according to ARWU Ranking)
• Students for PhD degree applications must have the Bachelor’s and Master`s transcript or degree at the time of application and must be under the age of 40 years.
• Students should have good academic and research performance and abilities.
• Language Requirement: There is no Specific Language Requirement for Zhejiang University. Students can apply for Chinese taught or English taught programs on the basis of English proficiency letter.

Language Requirement Details

Chinese: Applicants who apply for courses instructed in Chinese must have a good command of Chinese language. If their Chinese proficiency has not reached the requirement of our institution for professional learning, they are required to take one-year remedial Chinese language courses and pass the relevant test prior to their studies in their specialties. For those who take the one-year remedial Chinese language courses, the duration of the scholarship will be extended correspondingly.

English: Students can also apply for the English taught programs on the basis of the English proficiency Letter (from your previous institutions). Students are encouraged to submit any of the IELTS, TOFEL, GRE, GAT, NAT if they have.
