Eligibility Criteria for FRIAS Fellowship

  • Hold a PhD with at least 8 years of postdoctoral experience
  • Be based at an academic institution in Africa
  • Have at least 5 peer-reviewed publications since Jan 1, 2016, including 1+ co-authored
  • Have at least 6 months of international academic experience
  • Hold a Master’s or PhD from an African university
  • Provide a Letter of Cooperation from a University of Freiburg professor
