Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants to study in UAE with a fully-funded scholarship for international students at United Arab Emirates University must fulfill the following eligibility criteria before starting their applications;

• Applicants must be international (Outside of UAE)
• Must have 12-year education or equivalent for the undergraduate degree applications
• Students must have at least a bachelor/undergraduate degree or transcript with a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 scale or equivalent for master degree applications
• Applicants must have a master degree or transcript with a minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 scale or equivalent for the Ph.D. degree applications
• Students must be in good physical and medical health
• Applicants must be research-oriented and willing to study at UAE

English Language Requirement

A score of at least 6.0 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic exam or equivalent for all disciplines delivered predominantly in English. • A native speaker of English who has completed his/her undergraduate education in an English-medium institution and in a country where English is the official language (see list of eligible native English speaking countries); or
• An applicant with an undergraduate degree from an English-medium institution can provide evidence of acquiring a minimum TOEFL score of 500 on the paper-based test, or its equivalent, at the time of admission to his/her undergraduate program.
