Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of one of the KOICA partner countries (93 countries eligible)
  • Be officially nominated by your government
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s) or KOICA Master’s degree (for Doctoral)
  • Be under 40 years of age
  • Have 2–3 years of field experience (preferable)
  • Be proficient in English (instruction language)
  • Be in good mental and physical health

Note: Applicants who have already benefited from Korean government degree scholarships are not eligible.
