Eligibility Criteria for Fellowship in USA
To be eligible for the Eisenhower Fellowships Global Program 2026, candidates must:
- Be between 32 and 45 years of age at the time of the program (flexible in exceptional cases)
- Demonstrate a strong track record of leadership and impact in their field
- Be highly proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Be a citizen and/or resident for at least 5 years in the country they are applying to represent
- Have approval for full-time leave from their employer for the entire program duration
- Commit to lifelong engagement with the EF global network
- Cannot reside in the United States or have had a fellowship in the last 2 years
- Must not use the fellowship to solicit funds or make business deals
- AI-generated applications are not permitted—essays must be original and well-cited
