Eligibility Criteria for Fellowship in USA

To be eligible for the Eisenhower Fellowships Global Program 2026, candidates must:

  • Be between 32 and 45 years of age at the time of the program (flexible in exceptional cases)
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of leadership and impact in their field
  • Be highly proficient in English (written and spoken)
  • Be a citizen and/or resident for at least 5 years in the country they are applying to represent
  • Have approval for full-time leave from their employer for the entire program duration
  • Commit to lifelong engagement with the EF global network
  • Cannot reside in the United States or have had a fellowship in the last 2 years
  • Must not use the fellowship to solicit funds or make business deals
  • AI-generated applications are not permitted—essays must be original and well-cited
