Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants to study in china with fully funded CSC scholarship in China at China University of Geosciences by Chinese Government Scholarship Council, must fulfill the following criteria;

• International applicants can apply for this scholarship (Non-Chinese)
• Students must have at least a bachelor’s degree/transcript or 16-year education for Master’s degree applications and must be under the age of 35 years.
• Applicants must have at least a master`s degree/transcript or 18-year education for PhD degree applications and must be under the age of 40 years.
• Students should be in good physical and medical health
• Language requirement: Students can apply on the basis of English proficiency letter for English taught programs and must have HSK for Chinese taught programs

Details of Language Requirement

Chinese Taught Programs: Applicants without HSK4 will not have the qualification to apply for Chinese-taught programs. Applicants with HSK4 but could not reach the level of language proficiency required for studying majors, that is, HSK4 with a score of 220 or above / HSK5 (required for majors related to management) must study Chinese for one year and pass the required score of HSK4 or HSK5 before commencing the major study.

English Taught Programs: Applicants who applied for English-taught programs should provide valid TOEFL (80 or above) or IELTS (6.0 or above) certificates.
