Eligibility Criteria for SPU Postdoctoral Jobs

To apply, candidates must:

  • Hold a PhD degree (within the last 5 years) in a relevant field.
  • Have a strong research track record with peer-reviewed ISI or DHET-accredited publications.
  • Demonstrate collaborative, innovative, and interdisciplinary research skills.
  • Be willing to relocate and reside full-time in Kimberley, South Africa for the duration of the fellowship.
  • Not hold any full-time employment during the fellowship period.
  • Be proficient in English (written and spoken).

Note: Applications are open to both South African and international candidates, but preference will be given to South Africans.
