Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants to study in china with a fully-funded scholarship at USTC by the University of Science and Technology of China Scholarship must fulfill the following criteria;

• International applicants can apply for this scholarship (Non-Chinese)
• Applicants must have 12-year or equivalent education
• Students must have at least a bachelor’s degree/transcript or 16-year education for Master’s degree applications and must be under 35 years.
• Applicants must have at least a master’s degree/transcript or 18-year education for Ph.D. degree applications and be under 40 years.
• Currently enrolled students who will be graduate before July 2021 can also apply for USTC Scholarship 2021
• Students should be in good physical and medical health
• Language requirement: Students must have Chinese language HSK for Chinese taught programs and must have English Proficiency proof for English led programs.

Benefits

USTC Fellowship 2021 is a fully-funded scholarship scheme for international students to study at USTC that will cover as following;

Undergraduate

USTC Fellowship programs have two levels: 

● Level A, funded by USTC, includes a tuition waiver, Comprehensive Medical Insurance, a monthly stipend of 2,500 RMB, 3000 RMB, 3500 RMB, and accommodation subsidy; 

● Level B, funded by USTC, includes a tuition waiver.

To apply for the fellowship, applicants need to create an account in the USTC Application System and select the connection they want to use. Applicants can either apply for one level or two levels at the same time. USTC will decide which level of the fellowship may be given based on the applicant’s total elevation. Each applicant can only be supported by one scholarship.
