Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates to study in South Korea for their undergraduate degree programs under fully funded scholarships in Korea through GIST Undergraduate Scholarships 2021 must fulfill the following eligibility criteria;

  • International applicants (all nationalities) are eligible
  • Students must hold their higher secondary (12 years) education or equivalent to apply for undergraduate degrees at GIST University.
  • Students should be in good medical and physical health.
  • There is no official requirement for age limit
  • Language Requirement: Students must be able to demonstrate the English proficiency with one of the IELTS or TOEFL tests. Only native English speakers are exempted.

English Language Requirement

  • TOEFL (Code: 0144), IELTS, TEPS, TOEIC
  • Applicants who are native English speakers (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, etc) do not need to submit English proficiency test score
  • SAT1, SAT2, AP, IB, GCE A-Level, ACT, Certificate of International Olympiad, the relevant country’s qualifying test for high school graduation or college entrance examination
  • For IB or GCE A-level test applicants, we accept predicted score report written by a counselor or teacher at the school. Once the applicant is admitted, he/she must submit an IB diploma / GCE Certificate as soon as it is received
  • National Olympiad Certificate is not applicable
  • For high school graduation or college entrance examination, applicants should submit an additional document, which describes the exam procedure, competition rate, result, etc
