Eligibility Criteria

Interested applicants to study in china with fully funded CSC scholarship in China at Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, by the Chinese Government Scholarship Council, must fulfill the following criteria;

• International applicants can apply for this scholarship (Non-Chinese)
• Students must have at least a bachelor’s degree/transcript or 16-year education for Master’s degree applications and must be under the age of 35 years.
• Applicants must have at least a master`s degree/transcript or 18-year education for PhD degree applications and must be under the age of 40 years.
• Students should be in good physical and medical health
• Language requirement: Students can apply on the basis of English proficiency letter for English taught programs and required the Chinese Language for Chinese Programs. Detailed requirements are given below;

Details of Language Requirement

For English Taught Programs: English- taught programs: IELTS≧6.5 or TOEFL≧80 or equivalent or Native English speakers. Applicants who could not provide the above mentioned English test results will be required to attend the English test organized by CQUPT in May. 

For Chinese Taught Programs: HSK 4 or above. Applicants who have HSK 5 or above can apply for the major study directly, those who have HSK 4 can apply to take Chinese language training courses for one year, and then move on to their degree study after meeting the requirement; Applicants who can provide proof of studying at a previous institution where the teaching language is Chinese, can apply for HSK test waiver.
